Pictured Blues
A two column theme based lightly on the prebuilt theme. This theme has flickr intergration [via FAlbum], an extra sections that is customizable [current has digg links via inlineRSS], and many other great features. When the home page is viewed the user will see the newest post on the top with the most recent comments on the top sidebar, following will be the flickr badge and extras sections where I encorporate Digg links, and wordpress links. Following this section there is the “Past Posts” section where users will see the excerpt from your past posts. On the sidebar is the categories, the archives via wp-calendar, the archives by month and the validation [xhtml] and feed links. This theme validates as xhtml strict and is cross browser friendly. Please leave comments if there are any problems. Download Pictured Blues Theme!

Wow, this looks fantastic! Does it support Widgets?

Well, I just answered my own question by installing it. Heh. Nope, no Widget support. Still, this theme rocks. I’ve been waiting for the original Prebuilt theme to get widgetized for the longest time, but it seems the author is very busy.
Prebuilt is fantastic and this mod is even cooler. It would be cooler/useful with Widget support though.
Great work and contribution!

Thanks for the mod of Prebuilt, it looks great. When I launch the next version of prebuilt in the next week or two, I’m going to include a link to download this alternative version as well. Be prepared to receive lots of traffic

Your theme looks very nice. I am currently working on redesigning my blog (http://jonathanspeaks.com/test/). I use Prebuilt 2 and I am trying to integrate the FAlbum plugin but I have toughness.
I see that you succeed to integrate it to your blog.
Perhaps can you help me?

Hi John,
I’ve just installed this theme, and it works brilliantly except for one tiny little issue - the Links section isn’t displaying properly.
http://davids.id.au/
It’s just a stock standard installation of the theme - I haven’t modified any of the files - so I’m not sure why it would be doing that?
Have you got any advice/suggestions on what might be causing that to happen?

Eric,
Your top navigation is not displaying properly due to some css, I will look into it.
What you can do you is go to the css file and look for the top navigation section. It is just a list. You will find a value called “top” simply put in a larger value and keep checking it.
For the middle links section you will need to look at the inlinerss xslt file, or go to the authors website. I created an xslt that is hosted on his site. what this will do is limit the number of characters of the “digg” section so that the links and the “digg” section will both fit into the box. Hope this helps.

Hi,
I am having a problem with my sidebar. Do you know what the problem is?
My address is: http://www.growlingdog.net
Thanks,
Jared

The problem is that you don’t have the get_recent_comments plugin installed or enabled.

Just got it working now. My falbum seems to be stuffing up. I have digg setup (well, I am pretty sure I do) but my falbum doesn’t work. When copying all the files into my plugins, I go to install plugin, then it says there is an error, the same error which I am receving now.
Thanks,
Jared

Hi John,
Is this theme being actively developed?
Thank you!

No. Again this is an older theme now that doesn’t even incorporate widgets.
