I hate being lonely. I try to perk myself up and head out on the town alone. I think to myself, perhaps I will meet someone, a friend, or a cute girl. But it never happens. I almost always end up coming home after two drinks and a few rounds of pool by myself. I’m trying really hard to push myself to meet new people, but the situations just don’t open up for me.
I hate being lonely. I try to fix it, and I just end up feeling more lonely than before.

Dear Earth
Hello Planet Earth,
It’s been a while since our last chat. What’s going on with you? I see you’ve gotten a little warmer, are you coming down with a fever? Me? Well, I’m just starting to get over a (now) week long case of strep throat. Also life is busy due to finals, and me not being able to do homework [because of the strep]. Irony really kicked in over this last week though. People don’t call me to often, which I’m usually ok with, but once I got strep and couldn’t really talk, everyone called. My phone rang off the hook one night as I lay in bed. Pretty fucking ironic eh?
Anyway, as I’m trying to heal myself, I hope that you can shake this fever of yours. Perhaps you have bush-itis. You should have your doctor check on that one. It has been known to kill some people, especially those who oppose its destructive path.
Well Earth, it has been good to hear from you again. Perhaps we can plan a walk or small hike around some of your more wooded areas and get to talk in a little more depth and think great thoughts. Until then, bye-bye.
