My new Macbook Life

MacbookMy new macbook and I, we have a wonderfull life together. My macbook and I go everywhere together [except the shower and water parks, macbook HATES water!]. We have so much fun together. My macbook and I like to watch tv cartoons over the internet, we like being creative, and we like to work as well. Sometimes my macbook gets a little tired and needs a good jolt to keep going, but that’s ok with me. My macbook and I like to invite friends over to play as well. Dreamweaver is normally chillin with us and photoshop tends to visit frequently (if only for short little stops over). We really have fun when kodak shares all her great pictures with us! Yes, life is good with my new friend macbook.

MacbookSome people think that I should still be nice to my old friend windows, but I say to hell with him. He was always getting me sick so that I had to visit the doctor, or buy medicines, a couple of times I even had to replace some appendages because of my former windows friend. I mean, who invites a friend over when they treat you like that? Not me! Though I still must see my windows friend at work, we tend not to talk very much. I’ve lost enough to my old friend windows, to much to risk it again.

My new macbook though, he likes to do things for me! All I have to do is ask and whalla, everything is done. My macbook is so quick, sometimes I find it hard to keep up with me, but macbook is very patient with me. Macbook likes to tell me everything that is going on with him, he also informs me when something is trying to place harm upon me. What a fried my new macbook is to me!

Weekly Horoscope

From: Free Will Astrology

When offered a choice between dueling interpretations, you should opt for elegant and generous stories over vulgar, boring, and unimaginative tales. While the no-nonsense, just-the-facts approach may seem to explain everything just fine, I assure you that there will always be catalytic enigmas lurking beneath the surface. This is one time when poet John Keats’ rule will be in full effect: “If something is not beautiful, it is probably not true.” Transcend the obvious, please. Rebel against the ravaging numbness of plain old everyday ugliness.

My Life with the Thrill Kill Cult

Life has been pretty steady lately. Everything has been leading up to the start of classes tomorrow morning. I have been working lots at my new job [web designer] and enjoying my free time. I’ve cleaned up the apartment, got rid of an old shitty long book shelf and replaced it with a modern sleek black upright [normal] bookshelf. I also got a small coffee table for my living/bed room area. All books are purchased, as well as my new mac book [which I love love love love]. I decided yesterday to come up to Indy, so I found a doggie day care for my wonderful Ethel and checked it out. They seem pretty good and I knew a friend that used them when she used to live in town. The place is called Canine Companions . They have an outdoor play pen where Ethel will be playing with the other dogs, which is great for her socially, and they have a camera so that I can watch this pen during the time she is out there if I so please. I think this last feature is pretty cool.

So basically I’m ready to start classes again and meet some old and new friends. I am really tired right now waiting outside the Apple store in Indianapolis. I’m waiting to get a bag for my white wizard [macbook].

What nobody knows

I feel like nobody wants me around. If for some reason they have me around it is just to get something from me. This is how I feel. I know that I am probably making lots of things up. I feel like I get stood up a lot by friends. Like no one ever calls me. Like no one is ever having fun when I’m around. I’m sure it is all my fault, and I’m sure it is all in my head, but it doesn’t stop myself from feeling it.

Football

As you may well know, I work for the IU Football team. I film them during practice for coaches review and training. This job is pretty cool because of the perks, mostly apparell and tickets, but has nothing at all to do with my future career.

So thusly I have decided to resign my position. I will not regularly work for the team during the season. I will finish filming for them the remainder of football camp, which ends the first day of class. I gave a new schedule to my boss yesterday saying I could make all of the weekday practices and I would only be really late to the evening practice due to my other job [as a web designer (in my field!) ]. I think that I will be a backup person for the camera crew incase someone calls in sick, or they just need someone to fill in. I should be able to do this once in awhile. The main reason for quiting was the fear of being overloaded when classes start and my grades slipping. I spent a lot of time last year studying and I plan on doing to same or more this year.

I guess it really comes down to playing things by ear, and still working for the team, but not on a regular basis throughout the season. Everything is so damn confusing, and my boss is so damn cunning that he gets me to say I’ll work when I really don’t want to.

This whole post is confusing. Shit.

Orange Sky

Wow, did anyone in Bloomington see the wonderfully orange sky that we had yesterday evening? I was lucky enough to snap off a couple of pictures. I had two that turned out really nice, plus I got multiple exposures of one shot to try and put them together as a multiple exposure picture. These type of pictures have a name but I can’t remember them, so therefore I can’t get the software necessary to do so. Can anyone help me with the name? I know that photoshop cs2 can do it [so i've read], so eventually I can just take these to the school library and put them together there. For your enjoyment I have included what I think of as the best picture out of the bunch. I have also made them available for download and multiple sizes to use as a desktop background. If I don’t have the size you need, let me know and I would be happy to make the correct size for you!

Tonight

Tonight after work I would like to go and see “Talladega Nights”. I love Will Ferrell and this movie looks to be funny as hell. Who is with me?

Also,

I love my new job. I actually get to do what I love to do [web design] and they pay me for it! The environment is a really laid back office. This is totally new for me as usually I’m doing some retail-ish. I am enjoying just kicking it in my 3/4 cube with others around. Everybody is pretty friendly and they seem to like me as well. Working in an office is great and my job totally rocks!
