Anxious

Today I start my job with the IU Football team. I am pretty nervous about this job. I am not entirely sure what to expect or what will be expected of me. I also have no idea on what to wear. In my interview my boss was wearing jeans and a sweatshirt, but it was a Friday. Arg. I guess that since I will be doing film work that I will not need to be dressed up, or that they will give me IU gear to wear. I am pretty anxious about starting this job though.

What sucks is that I will not get enough hours for this semester.

That means that I still need to find money elsewhere.
All of my flyers that I posted around campus are continually taken down, so that plan did not work. I am also really way to nervous and embarrassed about giving flyers out by hand. Maybe I can find a couple of local businesses that need a website designed or re-designed. I think that I can handle that, plus it is money up front usually.

Wish me luck!

suck

Life sucks and I am totally depressed.

I keep trying to type out why but I can’t force myself to do it. I don’t want to have to look at it over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.

I feel like sleeping some more……

Jumpstart

Well it seems like my financial life got a small jumpstart today.

I went out and put up some flyers for my business around campus which hopefully generates a couple of customers.

I have a phone metting tomorrow with a potential employer; working part-time for the IU football team, I would be filming their practices, but would also get lots of cool stuff!

I have a metting for another job at 2:00pm. This also might turn into a business venture we will just have to wait and see.

I have a metting with a former client tomorrow at 7pm also! This is a meeting for a new business venture which he is pursing.

With all of these things going for me tomorrow, and the fact I have internet again (thanks Insight), my financial life is looking up.

It finally happened

So I won’t be online much anymore. My cable internet was finally shut off due to lack of funds. ):

I am trying hard to get a job that fits my school schedule or to get my business up and running.
Please excuse me if I don’t answer emails or posts right away.
So for now, Good Bye Internet. I hope to see you soon!

HaHa the MAN struck a deal with me. Hurray for arrangements and nice people.

Now I need to make sure I am making money money money. I have applied for many jobs and have a meeting with a local guy tomorrow. Plus with the help of Josh I will be putting up flyers and other advertising around bloomington for my computer repair business Inter-Tech. So if you have computer problems, see me, hell we can strike a deal if need be. Be sure to send your friends and family my way as well, I will treat them nice.

The Stress is coming

Oh man I am financially stressed.

How will I make it to the end of the month? The end of the semester? Arg.
I don’t really feel like I have time for a job, but  I can’t seem to generate enough business of my own to make money. I really do not know what to do. I am very stressed out over this situation and need to be able to pay my bills and eat. At least I have rent paid up until June. I can get a job this summer, no problem. Right now though I am in school from 8-5:30 everyday and I have to do homework after that. What is a college guy to do?

Today Sucks

Title says it all. Today was horrible. I am missing Michelle like crazy because St Patrick’s Day is one of our special days. I miss her Irish eyes a smilin.

Also it was just a horrible day of worring about my financial situation.

None of my friends can buckle down and make a decision about which bars to visit tonight: Indy or B-town. Someone fucking decide. Oh I’m so glad that last night was so damn good! I got to talk to Michelle, tell her that I love her, and IU won the first round game of the NCAA. Sweetness!!!

Breakage

My spring break trip was a riot. The Family Jewels (Julian), One Drink Wonder (Jenna), and myself (Fucktastic) had ourselves a terrific time. We went up to Detroit to find Pole Town and ended up getting the factory tour of the GM plant. Pole Town was a polish neighbor hood about 30 years ago and GM bought the land and bulldozed everything including tons of houses, two schools, a library, and a hospital. It was quite horrible of them and a good case of eminent domain (the reason these law kids wanted to go, I went for fun!) So upon arrival we actually got a tour of the GM plant. The plant actually had an old map showing pole town as it used to be…but it was conveniently hidden in a small hallway by the bathrooms. The tour was quite good and the guide told us that when GM took the land there was a cemetery there and they have actually preserved it! This cemetery is the only remaining part of Pole Town, but it was raining outside so we did not visit it : (   For dinner we headed up to Windsor, Canada and had ourselves some canasian Indiana food, it was very good and I got to try some Lychee Juice. It kinda tasted of pineapple and melon. We also visited the Henry Ford Museum which housed lots of interesting American artifacts besides cars. We got to see a round aluminum house exhibit which was cool. The drive back was kinda crazy as The Family Jewels and One Drink Wonder fought over directions. Thank God for the iPod!

New Site

So I’ve redesigned my company’s website. Check it out…  Inter-Tech.

Over the last week or so I kept changing everything. The layout changed multiple times, as well as the color scheme. I have finally decided upon the two, but now I keep changing the top header image. I tonight I have everything looking the way that I want it to.

I will be heading up to Indy tomorrow to see a couple of bands that I love, Loretta and Extra Blue Kind. They will be playing at the Emerson Theater. E.B.K. is playing a show down here in B-Town tonight, but I really want to see both bands so I will wait until tomorrow night.

Spring break started today!!!!
My friend Jenna called me and invited me on an adventure to find a town formerly known as “Pole Town” (meaning polish) that Chrysler took over and built a car plant upon. I am not really sure what this is all about but it is a trip for me that I can afford. We will only be gone two days but it should be fun. Thanks to Mom and Dad for taking care of Ethel while I’m away.

The new Film Troupe is coming along well and we are having our second meeting soon! I have been doing some crazy stuff on my own to get used to the camera, both in front of it and behind it. I have done some work now with Adobe Premiere, but I am still very very new at this and can’t do anything except import and export. Well it is fun to try new stuff and be creative in the process. Check out the website (link above) as we will be putting up our progress and our story boards as we develop our first short! We do not have a name for our group yet and are still looking for something, send us your ideas!!!

Ear?

Ok what the hell is up. For some reason I woke up today, like I do everyday, and my right ear has lost almost all hearing….wtf?

This is so incredibly strange, frustrating, annoying, burendsome, and fucking ANNOYING. My body has gone and left me, but I’m only 24. Man I hope this goes away today. It is really really bothering me.

On the plus side….wine and cheese at the Red House on friday. Cool!
